Payrate: £150–£230 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

We are seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join a high-achieving school in Nottingham, delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ reading, writing, and analytical skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teacher of English who can bring texts to life, encourage thoughtful discussion, and support students in expressing their ideas with clarity and confidence.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature
  • Develop pupils’ critical thinking, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Encourage discussion, interpretation, and independent analysis
  • Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to support improvement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

What You’ll Bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
