£95 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

A highly supportive mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEN/Inclusion Provision is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-run provision where systems are already in place, staff are experienced, and pupils receive the structured, consistent support they need.
If you have experience in EYFS or KS1 and a strong understanding of SEN support, this is a role where you can make a genuine impact from day one.
About the Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (Inclusion Provision)
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils within the Inclusion/SEN Provision on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Work predominantly with EYFS and KS1 pupils with additional needs
- Support children with Autism, Speech & Language needs, and SEMH
- Use visual supports, structured routines, and communication strategies
- Support emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Work closely with the SENCO and experienced provision staff
This is a hands-on, specialist role requiring someone confident working with pupils who may need high levels of support, consistency, and patience.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
- Strong background in EYFS or KS1
- Understanding of Autism, communication needs, and early development
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
