Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Pay rate: £85-£110 Per Day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Peterlee.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils stay on task, follow set work, and remain engaged in their learning.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons using pre-prepared materials provided by teaching staff.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
- Support pupils in completing tasks and maintaining focus.
- Report on pupil engagement and any issues to teaching staff.
- Assist with general classroom organisation where required.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a one.
