The Role – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Lymington)
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs (SEN)

  • Support learning, behaviour, and emotional development

  • Implement tailored strategies set by the SENCO and external professionals

  • Build a strong, consistent relationship to improve engagement and outcomes

  • Assist with behaviour management and pastoral support

  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN team

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA, or Support Worker (desirable)

  • Candidates from care, residential, support work, or youth work backgrounds encouraged to apply

Experience Level

  • Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants / TAs – highly desirable
