Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A number of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding and confidence in mathematics. You will assess progress, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Assess, track and report on student progress

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment

  • Adapt teaching to support a range of abilities

  • Provide constructive feedback to support student development

  • Contribute to departmental planning where required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience teaching Maths in secondary school settings

  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident, adaptable and professional approach

  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners
