Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 per day

A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality teaching, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students are supported in achieving their learning goals.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, monitor and track student progress

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners

Provide feedback to students to support development

Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching Science in secondary school settings

Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Professional, reliable and adaptable approach

Ability to inspire and engage young learners
