Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing targeted support to help them stay engaged and make progress. You will assist in lessons, support behaviour where needed, and help create a calm and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering lessons across a range of subjects

Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning

Provide additional support for students with SEND or behavioural needs

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

Assist with preparing classroom resources and materials

Monitor progress and communicate updates to teaching staff
Requirements:

Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A patient, resilient and proactive approach

Ability to adapt to different classroom environments

A genuine commitment to supporting young people in education
