Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre-set work and ensure lessons run smoothly when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for maintaining order, supporting student understanding where possible, and ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere throughout the lesson.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work

Provide basic guidance and support during lessons

Report on student behaviour and lesson outcomes

Uphold a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements:

Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting

Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Confidence leading a class independently

A calm, adaptable and professional approach

A genuine interest in supporting student learning
