Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As Behaviour Support, you will work closely with students who require additional support in managing their behaviour. You will play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged in lessons, de-escalating situations where necessary, and promoting positive outcomes. This role requires patience, confidence and a consistent approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students with behavioural needs

  • Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans

  • Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and progress

  • Work alongside teaching staff to maintain a focused learning environment

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

  • Monitor behaviour and report progress to relevant staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly in behaviour support

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Calm, resilient and adaptable approach

  • Ability to build trust and establish boundaries effectively

  • A genuine commitment to supporting student wellbeing and development
