Job Title: Psychology graduate
Location: Northumberland
Pay rate: £100 -£130 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with children and young people?
GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from motivated Psychology Graduates to work in schools across Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in education, behaviour support, and special educational needs while making a real difference.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with pupils, supporting their learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing in a school setting.
Key Duties:
- Provide classroom, 1:1, and small group support to pupils.
- Support children with additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and adapted learning activities.
- Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to support confidence and development.
- Observe and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology.
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop within an education setting.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
