Job Title: Criminology Graduate
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £100 – £130 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking motivated and resilient Criminology Graduates to work in schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne.
As a Criminology Graduate, you will support students in managing behaviour, improving engagement, and developing positive relationships within the school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Criminology Graduate to build experience working with young people, particularly those who may present behavioural or social challenges.
Main Responsibilities of a Criminology Graduate:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students
- Support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies
- Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement support plans
- Help students overcome barriers to learning and engagement
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to encourage progress
- Monitor and report on student behaviour and development
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements of a Criminology Graduate:
- A degree in Criminology or a related field
- Interest in behaviour management, safeguarding, and youth support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in education, youth work, or care settings is desirable
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
