GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Primary Teacher for a fantastic permanent role in a supportive Southampton primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to secure a long-term position in a welcoming school environment.
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative KS1 lessons across the national curriculum
- Support early pupil progress in core subjects, including English and Maths
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- KS1 teaching experience (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for early primary education and pupil development
- Confident, adaptable, and committed to high standards
Experience Level
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) – welcome and fully supported
- Experienced Teachers – strong classroom practice with potential for additional responsibility within KS1
