Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Rotherham
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a resilient and supportive Behaviour Support practitioner who is passionate about helping young people succeed in school?
Schools in Rotherham and GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support professional to provide consistent guidance and pastoral support to pupils.
As Behaviour Support, you will work with students who may experience challenges with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. You will help create a calm and structured environment where pupils feel supported, understood, and encouraged to make positive choices.
Key Duties:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement.
- Implement behaviour strategies and intervention plans.
- Assist students during lessons and unstructured times.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in behaviour support or a similar role.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
