Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teachers to work in schools across Doncaster.

As a PE Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging sports sessions, develop students’ physical abilities, and encourage teamwork and resilience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons and inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

Main Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach a variety of sports and physical activities to students
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour through sport
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Encourage participation and engagement in physical activities
  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during lessons
  • Support students’ physical, social, and emotional development

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable
  • Experience in coaching different sports with children or young people
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive and energetic approach to teaching
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
