Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a creative Design and Technology Teacher to work with schools in Doncaster, delivering engaging lessons that encourage innovation and hands-on learning.
As a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that help students design, make, and evaluate products while developing technical knowledge and practical skills in a supportive classroom and workshop environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach practical skills including designing, making, and evaluating products.
- Maintain a safe and well-managed workshop or classroom environment.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of workshop safety and practical teaching methods.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
