Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support learning continuity and help maintain a positive classroom environment across schools!

GSL Education are currently hiring a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Doncaster.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged with set work and maintaining a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson materials and instructions.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
  • Support pupils in staying focused and completing tasks.
  • Report on pupil engagement and any classroom issues to teaching staff.

Requirements of Cover Supervisor:

  • Experience working in a school or with young people is desirable.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
