Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Computer Studies (CS) Teacher to join schools in Wakefield. The Computer Studies Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons that build understanding of programming, digital literacy, and computer systems across key stages.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Computer Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach programming, digital skills, and computing concepts.
  • Encourage problem-solving and logical thinking.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements of Computer Studies Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
