Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher who can inspire confidence and achievement in mathematics?

Schools in Wakefield and GSL Education are searching for a committed Maths Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will support students in developing numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills. You will create a positive classroom environment where learners feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and structured maths lessons.
  • Support students in developing problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom control.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
