Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are currently hiring a skilled and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley.
As a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver hands-on lessons that encourage pupils to design, create, and evaluate products while developing technical knowledge and practical skills.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach a range of materials, processes, and product design techniques.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop and classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong practical teaching skills and classroom management.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
