Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work and maintain focus throughout lessons. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, supporting learning continuity and creating a productive environment for students.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absence and ensure learning continues effectively

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions to students

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students in staying focused and completing set tasks

Maintain a calm and productive learning environment

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings

A genuine interest in supporting education and student progress
