Exam Invigilator – Part Time | Secondary School | GCSE Exam Season
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Exam Invigilator to support a busy secondary school during the main GCSE examination period. This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for individuals with previous school-based experience who are looking for flexible work during exam season.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring examinations run smoothly, fairly, and in line with regulations.
The Role:
- Supervising students during GCSE examinations
- Ensuring exam conditions are maintained at all times
- Distributing and collecting exam papers securely
- Assisting students where required in line with exam regulations
- Reading and scribing support may be involved for students with access arrangements
- Reporting any issues or irregularities promptly
- Part-time hours based around the exam timetable
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Teacher
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and vigilant
- Confidence working with young people in a school environment
- Understanding of confidentiality and exam procedures
