Location: Scarborough
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026
GSL Education are seeking experienced Teachers (Primary, Secondary or SEN) to work within a specialist provision in Scarborough.
About the School
This specialist school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including SEMH, ASC and communication needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, with a strong focus on personalised learning and therapeutic approaches to support pupil development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons suited to pupil needs
- Support pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to ensure engagement
- Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN teams
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in SEN / SEMH or specialist settings preferred
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
