Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Studies Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield.

As a Computer Studies (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build students’ understanding of IT systems, programming, and digital literacy, while encouraging problem-solving and innovation.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach key topics such as programming, data handling, and computer systems.
  • Support students in developing practical and analytical skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Studies Teacher or similar role in a school.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
