Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a skilled Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield, delivering engaging lessons that develop technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Role overview:
- Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons
- Teach practical skills using a range of tools, materials, and techniques
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Prime responsibilities of Design and Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum
- Support students in designing, making, and evaluating projects
- Promote safe use of equipment and adherence to health & safety guidelines
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Contribute to departmental planning and activities
Requirements of Design and Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of workshop safety and materials
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

- Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
