Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a passionate Behaviour Support professional to work with schools in Sheffield, supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance.
As a Behaviour Support staff member, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to provide structured support, helping students manage their behaviour, build self-regulation skills, and stay engaged in learning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing self-management strategies.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with students to support wellbeing and engagement.
- Monitor student progress and report any concerns or improvements to staff.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.
Requirements of Behaviour Support:
- Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, resilient, and supportive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
