Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £105-£115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in schools across Dinnington.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help with their learning, behaviour, or engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis with learning activities.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning.
  • Support behaviour management and encourage positive classroom conduct.
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements of Learning Support Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, calm, and supportive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
