Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £160-£230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Dinnington. This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated teacher to work with students who require tailored support, helping them succeed academically and personally.

As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons, adapt teaching strategies, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be patient, understanding, and confident in supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Support students with a range of SEN, including learning and behavioural needs
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a school setting
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
