Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £105-£115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support pupils to overcome barriers, manage behaviour positively, and re-engage with their learning in a structured and supportive environment!

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to work within a school in Dinnington, providing targeted support to students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance.

In this role, you will work closely with pupils, helping them develop self-regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour patterns while supporting their overall engagement in education.

About the role

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural needs, using consistent strategies to create a calm and focused learning environment. You will build strong relationships with pupils and work collaboratively with staff to support progress and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities of Behaviour Support Worker:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support
  • Implement consistent behaviour management strategies
  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation and social skills
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
  • Monitor progress and report any concerns appropriately

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
