Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Gateshead
Pay rate: £13 -£18 per hour (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from attentive Exam Invigilators to work in schools across Gateshead. This is a great opportunity to support the smooth running of examinations and ensure a fair environment for all pupils.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in supervising exams, maintaining exam conditions, and supporting pupils throughout the process.
Key Duties of Exam Invigilator:
- Supervise pupils during examinations in line with exam regulations.
- Ensure a calm, quiet, and controlled environment.
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
- Provide clear instructions to pupils before and during exams.
- Monitor behaviour and prevent any malpractice.
- Report any issues or irregularities to the exams officer.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
- Ability to remain calm and observant throughout exam sessions.
- Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
