Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to work within schools across Dinnington.
While the title of the role is Sports Coach, the position is primarily school-based rather than sports-focused. You will be supporting pupils in classroom environments, assisting with behaviour management, and helping students stay engaged and focused throughout the school day.

Sports Coach - About the Role
As Sports Coach, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students across a range of lessons. The work includes classroom support, cover supervision, and behaviour-related responsibilities depending on the needs of the school.
Your experience in sport or coaching will help you build positive relationships with students, encourage participation, and maintain structure within the learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
- Supervise classes and ensure students remain focused on learning tasks
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Use your coaching background to motivate and engage students
- Work with individuals and small groups who require additional support
- Assist with daily school routines and general classroom support
Requirements of Sports Coach:
- Experience in sports coaching, fitness, youth work, or similar background
- Ability to manage groups confidently and effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and flexible approach
- Commitment to supporting young people in an educational setting
