Salary: £150 - £250 per day

GSL Education London Branch are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary comprehensive school in Waltham Forest. This is a great role for a passionate Food Technology Teacher who enjoys inspiring students and delivering engaging, practical lessons.
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop essential cooking skills, knowledge of nutrition, and a love for food. The school is looking for a confident and creative Food Technology Teacher who can bring energy into the classroom and support students of all abilities.
This Food Technology Teacher role is ideal for someone who is committed, organised, and eager to make a positive impact. The successful Food Technology Teacher will be joining a supportive team and a school that values high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Food Technology Teacher
- Teach students about food preparation, nutrition, and health
- Ensure a safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly
- Support students of different abilities and learning needs
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Work collaboratively with other staff as a Food Technology Teacher
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working as a Food Technology Teacher in a secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
- Good classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- A positive and professional attitude
