Pay: £475 - £600 Per Week
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time
The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant
• 1:1 and small group support as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Supporting Secondary aged pupils with SEMH needs and behaviour challenges
• Using de-escalation strategies as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Building strong relationships with pupils with SEMH
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
• Collaborating with teachers and pastoral teams
Who We Are Looking For – SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or with SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management and resilience
• Calm, consistent and confident SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Background in PRUs, SEN schools or mentoring is desirable
