Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Do you enjoy teaching Computer Science and helping students develop essential digital and problem-solving skills?

GSL Education are looking for a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to work with schools in Doncaster, delivering engaging lessons that prepare students for the modern, technology-driven world.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of programming, algorithms, and computer systems, while encouraging logical thinking and creativity in a supportive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems.
  • Encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital literacy.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
