Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a skilled Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. The Design and Technology (DT) Teacher will deliver hands-on lessons that develop students’ technical skills, creativity, and understanding of design processes across key stages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach a range of practical skills, including design, construction, and use of tools and materials.
  • Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in practical environments.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
