Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from dependable Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or progress into a teaching career.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will take responsibility for managing lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring pupils stay on task and engaged with their work.
Main Duties of Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise whole classes using pre-prepared lesson materials.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support pupils with their work where needed.
- Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and pupil behaviour.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with young people, ideally within a school or similar environment.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Confident in leading a classroom independently.
- Flexible, reliable, and well-organised approach.
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and classroom settings.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
