Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Wakefield, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.
As Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in completing tasks within a calm and structured environment.
What you’ll be doing as a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise lessons using work prepared by teaching staff
- Maintain positive behaviour and a focused classroom atmosphere
- Encourage pupils to stay on task and complete assigned work
- Report back to staff on lesson progress and any concerns
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence leading a classroom independently
- A flexible, organised, and professional approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
