Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker

Pay rate: 105 Per Day

GSL Education are currently hiring dedicated Behaviour Support Workers to work in schools across Dinnington. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional guidance in managing their behaviour and engaging with learning.
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will help create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils can develop confidence, self-control, and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support Worker:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs.
- Support pupils in managing emotions and making positive behaviour choices.
- Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement.
- Support pupils during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times.
- Record observations and feedback on pupil progress and behaviour.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a behaviour support role.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain consistent and professional at all times.
- Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
