Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently looking for a passionate Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of programming, algorithms, and digital systems while encouraging creativity and logical thinking.
Main Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach key topics including programming, computational thinking, and IT systems.
- Support pupils in developing problem-solving and coding skills.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
