Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

GSL Education are looking for energetic and motivated individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to work in schools across Worksop.

The role is titled Sports Coach, but the work is based in school and classroom settings. You will support students with their learning, help manage behaviour, and keep them engaged throughout the school day.

About the Role:

As Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support students in lessons. You will take on responsibilities such as teaching assistant duties, cover supervision, and behaviour support, depending on the needs of the school.

Your coaching experience will help you build strong relationships with students, encourage participation, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Prime Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Support teachers during lessons and classroom activities
  • Supervise classes when required, ensuring students stay on task
  • Help manage behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment
  • Use your coaching skills to motivate and engage students
  • Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Assist with general school duties and daily routines

Requirements of Sports Coach:

  • Background in sports coaching, fitness, or working with young people
  • Confidence in managing groups and building rapport with students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and professional attitude
  • Interest in working within education and supporting student development
