Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment, starting immediately. This role is ideal for an educator who can inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through engaging and hands-on lessons.
Key Responsibilities of the Design and Technology (DT) Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages.
- Inspire students to explore design principles, materials, tools, and manufacturing processes.
- Promote creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving through project-based learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Design and Technology curriculum.
Requirements for the Design and Technology (DT) Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at the school level.
- Strong subject knowledge across areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
