Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated Behaviour Support staff to work in schools across Sheffield. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to helping students overcome behavioural challenges and thrive within the school environment.
As a Behaviour Support professional, you will work closely with students who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them to engage positively with learning and everyday school life.
Behaviour Support Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs
- Assist students in managing emotions, behaviour, and social interactions
- Implement positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies
- Support students during lessons to promote engagement and focus
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
- Monitor student progress and feedback to school staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and positive intervention strategies
- Ability to build trusting and professional relationships with students
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply
