Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 a day
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students in developing their understanding and confidence in Science.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Support student progress through targeted interventions
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science
  • Experience teaching in a school setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A committed and adaptable teaching approach
