Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham S25 / Dinnington
Salary: £460 - £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them access learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
- Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support strategies
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
- Encourage positive engagement in learning
- Support individual learning plans
- Promote a safe and structured environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs is preferred
- Strong patience, resilience, and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Calm and consistent approach in challenging situations
