Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £460 - £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absence and deliver pre-set work
- Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students in staying focused and engaged
- Report any issues to relevant staff
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a school or similar environment is preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence leading groups independently
- Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups
- A calm and professional approach
