Salary: £90 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Your Role as an SEMH Support:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for learners with SEMH needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage positively in learning.
  • Assist teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
  • Implement behaviour support strategies tailored to individual needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver an honest and holistic approach to learner support.

What You’ll Need as an SEMH Support:

  • Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or additional learning needs.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic manner with a genuine passion for helping vulnerable learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A proactive, resilient, and consistent approach to supporting behaviour and wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
