Salary: £90 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Your Role as an SEMH Support:

  • Provide tailored, one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Help pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop positive coping strategies.
  • Support learning across the curriculum, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships to create a safe, consistent environment for learners.
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.

What You’ll Need as an SEMH Support:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional learning needs.
  • Strong communication and emotional resilience, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage challenging behaviours using positive strategies.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
