Inspire Young Learners as a Primary Teacher in Newcastle!

Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £120 – £160 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate Primary Teachers to work across a range of warm, inclusive, and well‑supported primary schools in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who are committed to delivering high‑quality learning experiences and helping young pupils thrive during their key developmental stages.

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, support children of varying abilities, and contribute to a nurturing school environment where every pupil can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your Role as a Primary Teacher Will Include:

  • Delivering well‑planned, inspiring lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.
  • Differentiating learning activities to support a wide range of abilities and needs.
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing meaningful feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and other school team members.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a supportive, positive approach.
  • A creative, adaptable, and proactive mindset toward teaching.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
