Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher who can inspire students to build confidence with numbers?

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work in supportive schools across Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher to engage students, develop their problem-solving skills, and make Maths both accessible and enjoyable.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support students of all abilities, and work closely with colleagues to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will be confident, organised, and committed to creating a positive learning environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons
  • Support students’ learning both individually and in groups
  • Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching resources
  • Contribute to school activities or enrichment sessions where required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths in a school setting
  • Ability to inspire and engage students across all abilities
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
