Job Title: Supply Teacher

Salary: Up to £190 per day

A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking adaptable and confident Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

These schools prioritise consistency, clear routines and supportive approaches to behaviour and wellbeing, ensuring students remain engaged and able to continue learning during teacher absences.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain focused and on task. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility and working across different school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Maintain a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment
- Support student engagement and learning throughout lessons
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
- Report any concerns to relevant staff where necessary
- Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience working in secondary school settings
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident, flexible and professional approach
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments
- Reliable and consistent availability
