Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

GSL Education is looking for energetic and motivated individuals with a sports, coaching, or fitness background to work in secondary school settings across Worksop. These are education-based roles where you will support learning, supervise classes, and help students stay engaged throughout the school day.

About the Role:
This role is ideal for individuals from sports coaching, fitness instruction, or youth leadership backgrounds who are interested in working in schools. You will support teachers, supervise lessons, and help students remain focused and engaged. You may also assist with PE lessons, practical activities, or small group support where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Supervise students in lessons as a learning support assistant or cover supervisor
  • Use sports and coaching experience to engage and motivate students
  • Support behaviour, focus, and participation in learning
  • Help maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress

Requirements:

  • Background in sports coaching, fitness, youth work, or similar active roles
  • Confidence working with groups of young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
  • Interest in supporting young people in an education setting
